Heartland Portraits - Sat April 13th, 7:30 PM at Five Points Washington

Heartland Portraits is a concert to honor the beauty and life of our region. As part of our tenth anniversary celebration, we are seeking photographic representations of the prairie land and life here in Illinois, which will be displayed in a digital dance on screens above the orchestra, choreographed to select movements of Symphony to the Prairie Farm by Steve Heitzeg.

Are you an amateur or professional photographer with a portfolio of images that capture the heart of the Heartland and beyond? Be it a downtown Peoria panorama, a Starved Rock scene, or a Champaign snapshot, your work can be a part of creating a unique piece of live performance art.

The deadline for submission of images is December 2nd, 2018 at midnight.
(Photographers retain sole ownership and unrestricted use of all photographs submitted.)

Submission guidelines:
Color images, horizontal orientation preferred
JPEG or TIFF file format
Minimum resolution of 3,300 x 2,200 pixels
No watermarks on photos
Format for image file names: FirstName_LastName_Photo#

Experience a world premiere, with three giant screens displaying images by and of our community, with photochoreography by Westwater Arts. This All-American concert honors the beauty and life of our Heartland.
